By Huawei-Towards a New Internet for the Year 2030 and Beyond

We believe Huawei fundamentally intends to remove internet security to enhance their ability to censor and influence democratic countries on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party.


They have proposed a NEW IP where they broadly describe the intent to merge IP addresses and MAC addresses. They see firewalls and segregated networks as a impediment for speed and user experience.


Increasing connectivity and optimizing the WAN is a good idea. Removing the security layer is not. Read their full submission to the International Telecommunications Union here.
